Developing skills, confidence, and independence in the water

 Our aquatic occupational therapy sessions provide essential NDIS support for children and families in a supportive and engaging water environment. 

Each 40-minute, one-on-one session is child-led and play-based, with activities tailored to your child’s individual goals. Therapy focuses on building confidence, independence, practical water safety, and survival skills through meaningful play in the water 

Therapy takes place at an indoor heated pool, where children can enter the water independently or with a caregiver, depending on their comfort. Our aquatic occupational therapy sessions are delivered in a positive, supportive way and tailored to each child’s pace, typically including: 

- Safe entry and exit routines 

- Play-based, goal-directed activities in the water 

- Opportunities to practice water safety and survival skills 

- Parent guidance and education 

This child-led therapy approach ensures that each child receives the NDIS support they need to thrive.

We provide aquatic occupational therapy at local aquatic centres.

Current locations include Brisbane, Sandgate, Logan, and Ipswich. We are continuing to expand across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast to support more NDIS families.

If your location is not listed, please get in touch -  we may be able to provide therapy at a pool near you.

We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants with our specialised services. 

While NeuroSplash is not a registered NDIS provider, we offer aquatic occupational therapy and child-led therapy as part of our capacity-building supports. We adhere to NDIS support guidelines and follow NDIS Pricing Arrangements, reviewing our fees annually. Supporting documentation for plan-managed participants can be provided as needed.

Initial Assessment - $452.64

• 20 min interview & goal setting
• 40 min face-to-face aquatic occupational therapy
• 20 min documentation & assessment scoring
• 60 min initial assessment summary report

Individual Session - $161.66

• 40 min face-to-face aquatic occupational therapy
• 10 min documentation & preparation
