NeuroSplash was created to improve water safety for neurodiverse children.
Founded by Emma, an occupational therapist with a background in learn-to-swim instruction, NeuroSplash is driven by a passion for helping children feel confident, capable, and supported in and around water.
Through years of experience, it became clear that traditional swimming programs often don’t meet the needs of neurodiverse children, despite the critical importance of water safety. Children on the autism spectrum are at a significantly higher risk of drowning, making accessible and meaningful water safety education essential.
At NeuroSplash, occupational therapy knowledge is combined with swimming instruction to deliver child-led, play-based aquatic therapy. Sessions are tailored to each child, supporting sensory needs while building water safety skills, confidence, and independence.
As a small, values-driven business, NeuroSplash is committed to providing personalised, high-quality care and ongoing support for children and their families.
